As a long-standing co-facilitator of the workshop, IASC member Ilkhom Soliev brings to attention the call for applications of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) that in cooperation with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek is looking for young researchers from Central Asia in Water Policy Studies to participate in the sixth Science for Diplomacy Workshop at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The 5-day workshop focuses on scientific writing as well as water resource management and governance issues. Selected candidates have the chance to continue in a two-month mentorship program. The event aims at developing a “critical intellectual mass” of researchers from the region and to strengthen the scientific community. Another focus is also the writing and publishing of water research related scientific and policy articles in internationally peer-reviewed journals.
